MEET ROSIE & PICCLES - OUR MUCH LOVED RABBITS

We’re delighted to share a little more about our nursery rabbits, Rosie and Piccles, and the beautiful, spacious enclosure we’ve specially built for them. Their home has been designed with plenty of room to hop, explore, and relax, giving the children a wonderful opportunity to observe and care for animals in a safe, nurturing environment.

Having pets in the nursery brings so many benefits to our children. Rosie and Piccles help the children learn about gentleness, responsibility, and empathy as they watch how the rabbits move, eat, and interact. The children love helping with simple tasks like topping up their hay or refilling their water, and these small moments teach them patience and kindness in a very natural way.

Our rabbits also play a lovely role in supporting emotional development. Spending quiet time near Rosie and Piccles can be incredibly calming, especially for children who may need a moment to settle or regulate their feelings. Their presence encourages curiosity too — the children often ask thoughtful questions about how rabbits live, what they need, and how we can look after them well.

Rosie and Piccles have quickly become part of our nursery family, and their custom-built enclosure means they have a safe, enriching space that the children can enjoy visiting every day. It’s been wonderful to see how much joy, confidence, and learning they inspire.
