There is more help now available for Paying for childcare than ever before. The government provides either 15 or 30 hours per week of funded childcare depending on your circumstances, more information is available on our "Funded Places" page.

In addition to funded hours the government also offers tax free childcare where parents will be able to open a new childcare account. For every £8 a parent pays into their childcare account, the government will pay in an extra £2. Parents can get up to £2000 government support per child per year towards their childcare costs - that's up to £500 every 3 months.

Working parents may be able to get free childcare for a child aged 9 months to 4 years old.

For those days or sessions covered by funded hours a small additional charge will be made to cover the cost of meals and snacks and daily essentials such as nappies, wipes and sun cream etc.

Additional Charges only apply to funded hours.
